Joyce Stoddard (nee Rawls) was born on February 11, 1933 in Atlanta, Georgia along with her twin brother, James, to the late James and Lola Rawls. Loving wife of Orville "Dick" Stoddard; dear mother of Julie, Greg (Jeri), the late Denise, and Bryan; grandmother of Traci (Gordon) McCormick, Benjamin, Autum, and Emilie; great grandmother to Hailee and Erica; and great-great grandmother to Jodiah.

Joyce met Dick, who was the love of her life, in Orlando, Florida where they married in 1952, eventually settling in Lake Orion, Michigan where she was a stay-at-home mom. Once the kids were grown, Joyce worked at a dress shop and as a switchboard operator before she and Dick retired to their beautiful log cabin in Homosassa, Florida in 1992.  Joyce and Dick were married for 51 years before his passing in 2004. Joyce loved gardening, cooking, and quilting, and was active in church, where you could find her teaching Sunday School and women's bible study, playing the organ for services, and heading up the kitchen for special events.
