Loving wife of Rudy for 70 years; cherished mother of Deborah (Ronald) Harris, Karen (fianceacute; Jerry Guidry) Mazza, Jeffrey (Corrine) Mazza, and Gina (Chris) Turner; grandmother of Bryce (Flora), Chad (Sarah), Toni (John), Drew (Stephanie), Brent (Erika), Trevor, Kevin, and Taylor (Julia); great grandmother of 8; sister of the late Perry (the late Joyce), James (the late Millie) Gates, and Dona 'Sissy', (the late John) Shedlowsky. Joy was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and cherished friend. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, baking (her infamous sugar cookies), and parties ndash; the perfect hostess. Most striking about Joy is that she lived up to her name with her sunny, positive, and bubbly personality, as well as doing for others made her the person you wanted to sit next to. Each day she tried to fulfill her goal of giving three compliments a day.
