SCHMIDT, JOSEPHINE, of Brandon Twp passed away March 1, 2022 at 87 years of age. Loving wife of the late Robert Schmidt; dear mother of Paul Schmidt, the late Art (Dawn) Schmidt, and Lisa (Brian) Oppmann. Proud grandmother of Gabrielle, Brett, Caitlin, Patrick, Rylie, and Sean; great grandmother to Aubree and Norah; sister of the late Elizabeth (John) Maye, the late Nina Cheek, and the late John McIntosh.

Josephine was formerly employed by Michigan Bell and was an auxiliary member at the Clarkston American Legion Post #63. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, theatre, politics, trips to Vegas, and spending time with family and friends.

Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at 10 AM at St. Anne Catholic Church, 825 S. Ortonville Rd, in state at 9:30 AM. Family will receive friends Monday from 4-8 PM COATS FUNERAL HOME-CLARKSTON.  Burial will take place at a later date at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
