KRAUSE, JOSEPH F. "JOE" of Clarkston, passed away June 30, 2022 at 80 years of age. Loving husband of Carol for 38 years; father of the late Jimmy Krause, Kim St. John, Josette Krause, and Joseph Krause; grandfather of 3, preceded in death by 1 grandchild; great grandfather of 4; brother of Joanna Saunders; loving "dad" to his precious animals, dogs Riley, Baxter, Murphy, Winston, and Freddie Mac, and cats Peach, Porche Kitty, and Pyewacket. Joe was a veteran of the US Army and was a die designer retiring in 1999 after over 30 years of service with Oakland Tool Manufacturing. His was an active, jovial, and a bit of a prankster who enjoyed golfing; bowling; pool; softball; oldies music; and can't forget the dancing. He will be remembered for his novel pranks and his loving concern for the menagerie of animals that lived in the house and in the yard. Funeral service will be Friday, July 8, 2022 at 11 AM at COATS FUNERAL HOME – CLARKSTON. Family will receive friends Friday 10 AM until time of service.
