Joe was a retired carpenter/builder. He was a Veteran of the US Army, serving in Korea. He was a member of the VFW Post #1008, the Michigan Paralyzed Veterans, the Korean War Veterans Oakland/Macomb Post Chapter #256 and a past member of the Waterford Optimist and Lions Clubs.
