DILIEGGHIO, JOSEPH MICHAEL, of Waterford, passed away January 22, 2022 at the age of 44. Born November 7, 1977 in Rochester Hills, Michigan to loving parents John (Barbara) Diliegghio and Sharron (James) Lee Exarhos (née Trafzer); dearest brother of Christopher (Kristi) Exarhos and Stephanie (Kurt) Gerling; proud uncle of Willow, Maia, Cole, and Kate; and friend to anyone who knew him. Joe was born with a warm and kind heart. He graduated from Clarkston High School in 1996, and furthered his education at Michigan Tech, Savanna College of Art and Design. His adventurous spirit would lead him on many career paths that would continue to shape him. Eventually, he landed a job at General Motors which helped propel his career. As Joe progressed, his talents truly began to shine. Each job he was offered he would exceed his mark and continue pushing forward with every opportunity he was given. General Motors helped him to find his true passion as a Software Test Engineer. Anyone who had the privilege of meeting Joe recognized his warmth and kindness right away; extremely intelligent; always making everyone around him feel at ease and cared for. Every person around him whether it was friends, coworkers, or family were always uplifted and seeking him for advice because they knew he had their best interest at heart.  Joe could discuss quantum physics to sports and could relate to any topic.  He will be remembered for his charm and great sense of humor. Joe left this world at the peak of his life and will deeply missed by all who knew him. Due to the COVID pandemic a private service will be held.
