of Battle Creek, formerly of Pontiac, passed away November 13, 2017 at 64 years of age. Dear father of Joshua (Catherine) Powell and Brandy Milliken; grandfather of Olivia and Jamael; brother of Pattie (Bill) Hagle, Thomas (Lori) Powell, Laura (the late Ronald) Shannon, Judy (Billy) Stevens, Cecil (the late Linda) Powell, and the late Ernistine Eubanks; brother in law of Don Eubanks. Preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Jessie Powell. Also survived by many loved nieces and nephews. Joe attended Pontiac Northern HS and was a veteran of the US Marine Corp Vietnam and worked for many years in construction and was most recently with the VA Center, Battle Creek.
