SMITH, JOHN R. JR. passed away January 27, 2020 at 53 years of age. John was a lifelong resident of Waterford, MI. Son of Ruth (nee Barlow) and the late John Robert Smith, Sr.; husband of Rebekah (nee James); loving father of Drake, Landon, and Brooklynn; brother of Sharon (Keith) Howell and Ann Marrie (Cristy) Rauck. John was a long time carrier for the Oakland Press and the Detroit Free Press. He enjoyed long standing relationships with his many loyal customers. John loved a good laugh, most importantly he adored his children.
