Loving brother of Jay Garten, Becky Garten, Greg Liles, Tia Liles, Amy Liles and Chris Atwood. Grandson of Gayle (the late John) Richards, the late Tom Golden Sr. and the late Barb Pilgrim. Nephew of Tina (Roger) Willoughby and Tom Jr. (Jill) Golden. Also survived by many loving extended family and friends. John enjoyed motorcycles and target shooting, he was in the process of joining the police academy before his illness.
