MOE, JOHN L. Sr., of Brighton, passed away Tuesday June 9, 2020 at 67 years of age. He was born in Northville, Michigan, the son to Elsie and the late Robert Moe. He is survived by his beloved wife of 18 years Nancy, whom he married December 17, 2003 in Livingston County; loving father of John (Carrie) Moe Jr., Jeremy Moe, Robert (Ashley) Moe, Andrew (Jessica) Moe, John (Sherri) Best and Robert (Michelle) Best; dearest grandfather of 17 and great grandfather of 1; dear brother of Sandra (Robert) Rediman, Robert (Barbara) Moe and Nora (Chuck) James. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family. John worked on and repaired tires for large commercial trucks and machinery and retired from Green Oak Tire Co. after many years of faithful service. He was a long time member of the Teamsters Union. In his free time John loved to go fishing with Nancy and just being outside. One of his favorite past times was going over to the St. Clair River and getting a hotel room for the night and just watch the large freighters go up and down the river. He will truly be missed by all those that knew and loved him. Visitation will be Saturday June 13, 2020 from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. Due to Covid-19 regulations only 10 people permitted in a chapel at a time, and mask are required. Private family service will take place with burial at Hillview Cemetery, Springfield Twp.
