McKEE, JOHN R. of Waterford, passed away January 7, 2022 at 82 years of age. Loving husband of Sue for nearly 60 years; dear father of Scott McKee and Tim (Christine) McKee; grandfather of Scott Jr. (Ashley), Erika (Justin), Paul, and Joseph; great grandfather of Alison, Zander, and Aria; brother of Vernita Lock and the late Louise Rumble. John retired from GM Pontiac Motor Division in data processing after 37 years of service. He was an active long time member of Community Presbyterian Church in Waterford where he held numerous position. He was an avid golfer. He and Sue enjoyed traveling and were fortunate to make trips to Hawaii, Bahamas, two trips to Alaska, and his dream trip to Australia. Time with his family, especially his grandchildren meant the world to John. His warm smile and gentle nature will never be forgotten. Funeral service will be Monday, January 10, 2022 at 1 PM at  COATS FUNERAL HOME-CLARKSTON, 8909 Dixie Hwy. Family will receive friends Monday 11 AM until time of service.
