passed away April 9, 2017 at age 95. Beloved husband of the late Christina Hurst; loving father of Paul Hurst, Elizabeth (Mark) Courtney, Marion (Jack) Karagozian and the late John G. Hurst Jr.; dearest grandfather of Allie (Michael), Jenna and Christina. Preceded in death by his siblings Leonard Hurst Jr., Helen Blackmore, Virginia Blanchard and Robert Hurst. John will also be missed by his nieces and nephews. John retired from Ford Motor Company. He was a Captain in the U S Army during WWII and was a life member of the Masonic Lodge in Royal Oak.
