Arial;"of Flint, formerly of Pontiac died October 11, 2014 at 87 years of age. Dear husband of the late Norma; father of Beverly (Leon) Tipton, Glenn (Sandra) Howard, Tom (Katherine) Howard, John Ray Howard, Rose Defenbaugh and Judy Sierra; grandfather of 10; great grandfather of several. Preceded in death by siblings Marvin and Marie. John was a veteran of the US Army WWII. He owned and operated Paddy Sign Shop on Dixie Highway in Waterford and later moved to Howard Street in Pontiac. John left Kentucky as a young man to find work and was offered an opportunity to work for Arial;"a sign company. He later would own and operate his own business. He lived to run his business and was an honest hardworking man.
