John W. Combs of Waterford, died March 3, 2014 at 87 years old. Beloved husband and best friend of Peggy for 64 years; father to Andrew Combs and the late Tony Combs, grandfather to Meagan (Ed) Lipke, Mercedes (Brandon) Turino, Tony Combs and Alayna Combs. Great grandfather to Josiah, Ava, Ellia Lipke, Shiloh Turino and Peyton Combs. John is also will be missed by nieces, nephews and a host of friends. John was a Veteran of the US Army, a member of Community Presbyterian Church, and had retired from GM after 60 years of service. He was an active Elk member with B.P.O.E. #810 for over 60 years, serving as Exalted Ruler, State President and Grand Lodge Chairman.
