Obituary

John Randall Clark, born on October 26, 1959, son of Howard and Patricia Clark and father of Colin Clark, died on April 23, 2025.  John was a loving father to Colin, a dear brother to Stuart and Don, and a devoted friend to many.  Kind, loyal, always considerate, John had an impish grin and an infectious laugh, revealed in his quick wit, which he often used to pillory the pompous or those who took life too seriously.  A free spirit, John was the life of the party and probably its cook, too, often out on his patio grill.  He thoroughly enjoyed music throughout his life, attending many concerts and listening to his hundreds of vinyl records on his custom built speakers and amplifiers that he built himself.  A fine golfer, John enjoyed the camaraderie, rather than a competition, of the game.  Fortunately he was able in his lifetime to play golf on some of the finest courses in Scotland.  He was an avid skier, enjoying trips to Colorado.  John was most proud of his fine son, Colin, who he was very close with.  He shared his love of golfing and fishing with his son.  John also took Colin to drag races and rat-rod car shows.   John learned how to build a home in Waterford as part of a vocational building trades class during his Senior year at Mott HS. These were skills he carried through his entire life, running his own construction company and providing help to friends and family, maintaining the house and lovely lakefront lot he enjoyed so, entertaining many with his convivial manner.  John was a fun-loving, kind, caring soul who will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
