Age 84, of Waterford, passed away on June 19, 2016. Loving husband of Mary Catherine Alfes for 57 years. Born June 28, 1931 in Lansing, MI. Attended St. Mary Cathedral High School and University of Notre Dame, earning a Bachelorrsquo;s of Science in Mechanical Engineering. After graduation, John joined Pontiac Motor Division of General Motors where he was a highly accomplished executive over a 40-year career, which included 21-months military service. John is survived by his four children; sons John (Celeste), Mark (Staci), and daughters Teresa, and Connie (Dan) and seven grandchildren. Devout Catholic and philanthropist devoted to helping others.
