CARR, JOEWANNA SUE, of Waterford, passed away on December 24, 2022, at 63 years old. Joewanna was born on April 1, 1959, in Pontiac, Michigan to parents,the late Rupert Tipton and Ivy Kirklin. Joewanna graduated from Waterford Kettering High School in 1976 and she played clarinet as a part of the school band. Joewanna is survived by her children; Steven (Randi) Rathbun, Todd (Tricia) Rathbun, and Louis Carr; Siblings Donald (Karen) Tipton and sisters Juliafaye and Sheilaruth and  her grandson Aidan Rathbun. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who affectionately called her "aunt Jo", as well as  her two cats, Scar and Mufasa. Joewanna was preceded in death by her husband of many years, Steven Rathbun; her sister Connie Tipton;  her father, Rupert Andrew Tipton and her mother Ivy Nell Kirklin. Joewanna will be remembered as a great caretaker who had a great and spunky sense of humor. In her spare time, Joewanna loved to cook and watch basketball and football. When Joewanna was not watching sports, she loved to watch soap operas (especially General Hospital), cooking shows, and Cops. There will be a memorial service held for her at a later time but there are no current services being held for Joewanna at this time.
