COOPER, JoEllen of White Lake, passed away December 25, 2021 at 90 years of age. Loving wife of the late Raymond "Junior" Cooper; cherished mother of Willard "Bill" Hardenburg III, Rebecka "Becky" (Eric) Brittingham, Robert (Cathy) Hardenburg, Kim (Michael) Charters, Barbara Hardenburg, and Jeffery Cooper; grandmother of 14; great grandmother of 13; sister of Georgia (the late George) Smith; preceded in death by 1 grandchild, 1 great grandchild, and sisters Gerry Hayes and Beverly Green. JoEllen was a wonderful loving, giving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an excellent dancer and with Junior they easily would "clear the floor". Weekends were always spent up north at the family cabin that was never short on extra family and friends. Always with a happy smile on her face and holding the title of "The Cleaner" for her cleaning skills, JoEllen will be remembered for her contagious laugh and always giving of herself to others. There is no doubt she was loved by everyone. Funeral service will be Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 10 AM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-CLARKSTON, 8909 Dixie Hwy. Family will receive friends Wednesday 4-8 PM.
