DUNSMORE, JOANNE MAE, of White Lake, passed away March 21, 2020 at 83 years of age. Daughter of the late Norman and Alice Thomas (nee Knapp); beloved wife of the late Gerald Dwain Dunsmore for 45 years; cherished mother of Patrick (Kristin) Dunsmore, Julia (Bill) Mongrain, James (Eve) Dunsmore, and predeceased by son David (Sharon) Dunsmore; proud grandmother of Erika (Aaron), Kevin, Jacob, Danielle, Noah, Elizabeth and predeceased by grandson Brian; special great grandmother of Ava, Connor, Lukas; dearest sister of the late Norman and (Carleen) Thomas and Janet (and the late David) Swartz. Joanne graduated from Waterford Township High School and received her bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from Ferris State. Joanne retired from Oakland County Medical Care facility, as a pharmacist, after 26 years of service. She enjoyed teaching bible classes, traveling, especially her trips to Africa and above all else, raising her children and visits with her grandchildren. Joanne was truly loved and will be deeply missed.
