divneacute;e Mead - of Waterford passed away on March 14, 2018 at the age 84 in her sleep, under her daughter Susan's care, after years of declining health. She took pleasure in sharing her creativity, her devotion to her family and her Lord. Her outgoing personality and concern for others made her a pillar in the community. Originally from Madison Heights, Joan was a devoted member to her faith and a chaplain at the Oakland County Care facility where she volunteered and spread the gospel for 45 years. Joan will forever be remembered by her husband Richard Robert; Her children: Richard Allan, Linda (Steve) Feezor and Susan (Dave Munro) Elmasian; Grandchildren: Nichole (Jayme) Oliver, Deliverance (Joshua) Bougie, Richard (Kelly) Kniffel, Daniel (Mandy) Kniffel and Stephen Feezor; Great grandchildren: Crystal, Brielle, Lauren and Joseph. Joan is preceded in death by her parents and 4 siblings, including her twin sister June Rose who passed away in December.div
