Obituary for Joan Tedder, beloved wife, mother and grandmother

Joan (Haglund) Tedder, born August 25, 1926, in Royal Oak, MI passed away on June 10, 2022, at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, Clinton Township, MI.  She was 95 years old. Joan was the daughter of the late Walter and Gladys (Bean) Haglund.  She attended Dondero High School in Royal Oak, Ml.

On May 7, 1943, she married the love her life, George Tedder, who she adoringly called, "Bud."  Joan and Bud were married for 59 years and had three children.

During her lifetime she lived throughout Oakland County, MI, Reed City MI, and Bradenton. FL. She was a homemaker who found her greatest joy in caring for and spending time with her family.  Her zest for life and independent spirit, well into her 90's, made her an inspiration to all that knew her.

Joan is predeceased by her husband Bud, daughter Charlotte (Tedder) Renaud, and son Walter Tedder. She is survived by her son John Tedder and his wife Janice (Stone) Tedder of Beaverton, MI, son-in-law John Renaud of Warren, MI, along with seven grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

She will be laid to rest beside her husband in a private ceremony at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI.
