ORTIZ, JIMMY, of Pontiac, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 64 years old. Jimmy was born on November 3, 1958, in Pontiac to parents Pablo and Modesta Ortiz.

He was a caring, loving, and kind hearted man who loved his kids and especially his grandchildren.

Proud father of: Jimmy Ortiz, Pablo (Amanda) Ortiz, Jose (Christina) Ortiz, and Enrique Ortiz; Cherished grandfather of Kayla Sparks, Pablo Ortiz Jr., Joseph Ortiz, Julius Ortiz, Aliana Ortiz, Maci Ortiz, Robert Simmons, Llandel Ortiz, Jimmy Ortiz, and Zhamira Ortiz. Beloved brother of: Jerry Ortiz, Patria LaTorre, Daniel (Sue) Ortiz, Carmen (William) Rivera, Carlos (Denise) Ortiz, Liliam (Luis) Cintron, Jose (the late Marilyn) Ortiz, Carmen Ortiz Sweeney, Ramon (Rosa) Ortiz, Jannice (Josue) Perez, Ermis Ortiz, Marilyn (Waldemar) Ortiz, and Isaias Ortiz.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD at 10:00am (visitation beginning one hour prior). The Ortiz family will accept visitors on Friday, July 28, 2023, from 4:00pm-8:00pm. Burial to take place at Perry Mt. Park Cemetery. Jimmy was loved by many and will be missed dearly.
