NIELSEN, JIMMIE MARTIN, age 88, of Clarkston, passed away February 23, 2022. He was born on February 8, 1934 in Royal Oak, Michigan, son to the late Niels and Brynhild Nielsen (nee Haugan). Loving husband of the late Maytie, dear father of Cynthia Farkas and Albert (Linda) Nielsen; proud grandfather of Jacqueline and Benjamin; brother of Nancy (Robert) Redilla. Jimmie worked for General Motors for many years as a master mechanic. In his spare time, he enjoyed his dogs, camping and the great outdoors. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, 12:00 Noon at St. Trinity Lutheran Church, 7925 Sashabaw Road, Clarkston. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:30 AM until time of service. Interment will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan. Memorial donations in Jimmie's name may be made to the Michigan Humane Society or to the Church. Arrangements entrusted to COATS FUNERAL HOME- WATERFORD.
