WEIDE, JERRY GENE of Waterford, passed away March 21, 2022 at 79 years of age; born on May 31st, 1943 in Mount Pleasant, Michigan to loving parents the late Ronald and Rosetta Weide (nee Aldrich); beloved husband of Nannette for 35 wonderful years; dear father of Jerry (Lisa) Weide, Jeff (Chris Foix) Weide, and the late Jay Weide; proud grandfather and great grandfather to many; brother of Jackie (the late Ron) Stephen and predeceased by older sister Joan (Dan) Fox-Mitchell. Jerry spent 45 years of his life as a mechanic repairman and eventually would retire from GM with over 30 years of service. He met his wife Nannette while she was waitressing at Sylvan Fine Foods and offered her a ride on his motorcycle and the rest was history. Jerry was a motorcycle and dirt bike enthusiast since he was young, and if he wasn't at work or spending time with his family, he was building custom bikes. He was a lifetime HOG member of Waterford. His family and friends would ride their bikes locally and across the country together creating memories that will never be forgotten. Jerry will be dearly missed forever.

A memorial service will be held at Coats Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 30th. Viewing will begin at 10:00 AM, and the service will begin at 11:00 AM. Luncheon will follow at Golden Buffet located at 5630 Dixie Hwy, Waterford, MI 48329.
