WERTHMAN, JEFFREY Alan, age 66, of West Bloomfield, passed away December 17, 2023. He was born on December 7, 1957, in West Bloomfield, Michigan, to the late Joseph Aloysius and Anna Laura Werthman (nee Richards). Loving husband of the Patricia Ann Werthman (nee Loudy) for 42 wonderful years; dear father of Nicholas Jeffrey (Lily) and Annie Laurie Werthman; proud grandfather of Isabella Willow, Asher Patrick, Flynn Hendricks, Jeffrey, and Waylon Ford Werthman; dearest brother of Judy, Marylou, Joe (Tracy) and preceded in death by his brother Jim and his in-laws Ronald, Mary Lou, and Ronald; was a lifelong friend to many. In 1976, Jeff graduated from West Bloomfield High School and went on to work as a lineman for GM. After 30 years of dedicated service to General Motors he retired at 48 years old. Jeff and Patricia were very good friends in high school and had fun adventures together to Cedar Point and Niagara falls. Their friendship eventually blossomed into lifelong partners, and they were married August 22nd, 1981. In his free time, Jeff enjoyed taking his pontoon boat out on Cass Lake, snowmobiling, fishing, hosting parties, and watching the Lions. He and his very close friends and family were true die-hard Lions fans. His whole garage was converted into a man cave they all loved to call the job site. In honor of Jeffrey, his family and friends all joined each other at the job site and watched the Lions victory over the Broncos on Saturday, December 16, 2023, before he passed away. Jeffrey will be deeply missed by all.
