Jeffrey Leo McDonald, a beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on May 25, 2024, at the age of 55. Born on April 19, 1969, in Pontiac, Michigan, Jeff was the cherished son of the late Orville Lester and Bonita McDonald (nee Brenner).

Jeff grew up in Clarkston, Michigan, where he developed a passion for the outdoors, especially white tail deer hunting. As a skilled carpenter by trade, Jeff built not only structures but also a life filled with love and cherished memories. His perfect day was spent on his boat on Pontiac Lake, enjoying a Captain and Coke in hand, surrounded by the natural beauty he so loved.

He was the cherished father of Jordan and Makenna McDonald and the proud grandfather of his late grandson, Hunter. Jeff was a dear brother to Karen (Darryl) and a devoted uncle to Amanda, Katelin, and DJ. He also leaves behind his two Labrador fur babies and hunting companions, Diesel and Chevy, who brought him endless joy.

Jeffrey's best friends, Dave and Jeanne Zaffina, were like family to him. His life was filled with laughter and joy, particularly when playing with kids during squirt gun fights on their property in Onaway and family vacations in Lewiston. Jeff's kindness, warmth, and love touched the hearts of everyone who knew him, and he was deeply loved in return.
