GOLDING, JEAN DAWSON, age 90, of Clarkston, passed away September 30, 2022. She was born December 10, 1931, in Pontiac, Michigan, daughter to the late Colin and Jemima Batchelor (nee Jamison). Loving wife of the late Elmer B. of 60 years, dear mother of Cheryl Golding, Vicky (Dave) Bruce, Rodney B. (Denice) Golding and Diane (Michael) Ostrander; proud grandmother of Wendy, Rodney (Bubba), Marc, Danielle (Nate) Kelly (Nate), Michelle (Jake), Casey, Chris. Great grandchildren; Raven (Justin) Robyn, Jossalynn, Hunter, Everett. Sister of Betty, the late (Kenny) Howell. She is predeceased by her sibling, Colin Batchelor (Marguerite), Mary (Chuck) Winters. Also survived by many nieces & nephews and extended family. Jean had a wonderful marriage to her late husband, Elmer. She grew up in Orchard Lake and attended Roosevelt school in Keego Harbor. She enjoyed gardening, being outside and going to softball tournaments across the country. One of her lifetime favorite trips was to Dundee, Scotland, to visit ancestors. Jeans family and friend meant the world to her. She always made birthdays special by calling and singing happy birthday, we could always count on that. She was loved by so many and will be dearly missed by all. A memorial service will be held at Harvestland Church (5848 Clintonville Rd. Clarkston, MI. 48348) at 11:00am on Saturday, November 12, 2022. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Michigan. Kindly keep Jean and her family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
