MULLINIX, JANIS J. of Pontiac, passed away September 9, 2021 at 92 years of age. Dear wife of the late Harry "Jim" Mullinix; dear mother of Jill (Berlin) Batey, Carolyn (Don) Moore, Jeff (Sandra) Mullinix, and Marge (Matt) Bowman; grandmother of 9; great grandmother of 13 with one on the way; great great grandmother of 2 with one on the way; preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Janis retired in the early 1980's after 20 years of service. Her and Jim were members of the Moose Lodge; enjoyed traveling; and over 20 trips to Vegas. Janis enjoyed crocheting, cooking, baking, and would take her last trip to the casino in 2019. Strong, capable woman, she maintained her own home until several weeks before her passing. She will be dearly missed by a loving family. Funeral service will be Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 11 AM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD. Burial Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.
