SUMPSTER, JANICE S. (née Thompson) of Lake Angelus, passed away August 5, 2023 at 65 years of age. Loving wife of Thomas for 38 years; beloved mother of Karen (Ryan) Shuman; grandmother of Thomas and William; sister of Tim Thompson; preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Marie (née Owens) Thompson.  Janice was a 1975 graduate of Pontiac Northern High School and a long time member of Community Bible Church in Waterford. She was a loving wife, mother, and "grandma Jan" to everyone. She was proud beyond words of her grandsons and enjoyed playing with them every chance she could. Friends, family, and her cats were all she needed to keep her life happy, full and rewarding. She was the person who kept everything running smoothly. Her beautiful little smile will be missed forever. Memorial service will he held August 15, 2023 at 5 PM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD. Family will receive friends Tuesday from 3 PM until time of service.
