GREEN, JANET MARIE, age 68 of Waterford, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022. She was born on April 11, 1954 in Detroit and grew up in Ferndale. She was the first in her family to attend college and graduated summa cum laude. Janet was a force of nature; an adventurer who never stopped exploring. She will be remembered as clever and compassionate. Janet will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 49 years, Don Green; daughter, Lisa (Brett) Edwards; grandchildren: Donald Edwards, Lillian Edwards, Matthew Grant, Ryan Fouts, Emileigh Fouts, and Lucas Fouts; sister in spirit, Beth King. She was preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Winans; daughter, Jennifer Fouts; and siblings: William Sanders, Carolyn Rockwell, and Early Winans. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
