WEST, JAMES A. "Jimmy" of Pontiac, passed away May 1, 2020 at 48 years of age. Born on July 17, 1971 in Pontiac, Michigan the son to the late Elvin and Sarah West. Survived by his daughter Ashley Adams; his siblings John West, Donna Dean, Julia "Susie" Middleton, Debbie Gamble, Vickie Balaskey, Gwen Waite, Barbara West, Lee West and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents and siblings Bobby West and Walter "Jr" Balaskey. Jimmy was a hardworking man, who would help others at the drop of a hat. He loved to cookout on the grill, enjoyed camping with his family and loved music in general but one of his favorites was Kid Rock, who writes "And it's times like these we can't replace, It's times like these we must embrace, And even though it's bittersweet and brings us to our knees, It makes us who we are in times like these." Private family service will be held for now, but hoping once Corona Virus sanctions are lifted, a family and friends memorial service will take place.
