He is survived by his best friend, Verline; children, Debbie (Raymond) Hutchinson, Donald Macurdy, James Sasser, Jeffrey (Lori) Sasser, John Sasser, Peggy (Bruce) Uren, Jesse (Marie) Sasser, Jodi (David) Williams, Rhonda (Jeffrey) Ernst, and the late Jennifer Scarberry; 24 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his brothers, Estel and Dallas Sasser. James retired from GM ndash; Pontiac Motors after 31 years of service. He was a Korean War Veteran of the United States Marines. His hobbies included woodworking and classic cars. He loved and cared for his grandchildren.
