REID, JAMES S. of Waterford, passed away August 29, 2022 at 92 years of age. Survived by the love of his life, Mary Lou McGlashen; son, David (Ruth) Reid; daughters, Sally (Rich) Weinstock and Susan (Mark) White; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren. Jim was a veteran of the US Navy-Korea and retired from General Motors after 34 years of service. He loved golf; bowling; skiing; butter pecan ice cream; and chocolate covered cherries. He loved to nap on the couch or as he would say when asked, "I'm resting my eyes". Jim was the perfect combination of Bob Hope and Paul Newman, big smile and blue eyes. Private graveside service with military honors was held at Perry Mt. Park Cemetery, Pontiac. Arrangements entrusted to COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD.
