James Bernard
Kwiatkowski
Feb 6, 1944 — Jan 12, 2022
Kwiatkowski, James Bernard, age 77, of Waterford, passed away January 12, 2022. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 6, 1944, son to the late Edward and Virginia Kwiatkowski and raised by Virginia and William Werner. Loving husband of the late Linda for 56 wonderful years; dear father of Kim (Mike) Hakimian, James Kwiatkowski Jr., Wendy (Phil) Comstock and Rich (Tanya) Kwiatkowski; proud grandfather of David Hakimian, Stephanie Hakimian, Staicee Kwiatkowski, Jake Kwiatkowski, Blake Hakimian, Kevin Kwiatkowski, Avery Kwiatkowski and Leela Comstock. Jim is survived by his sisters; Nancy Dvorak and Shirley Guetzloff and was preceded in death by his brother Ronald Kwiatkowski and step-brothers William and Phillip Werner.
Jim's strong devotion to his family drove him to be a hard worker in order to provide as many opportunities in life for his family. Whether it was a purchasing a boat, sailboat or waverunner for the kids that he probably couldn't afford, or planning picnics and camping trips each year in order to provide as many experiences and memories that they would never forget. He made sure all of his children were educated in the realities of life including knowing how to tackle beyond the basic home repairs or car repairs so they would become hard workers and could care for themselves and their families.
At the family's request no visitation or service will be held. Arrangements entrusted to Coats Funeral Home – Waterford. There will be a Celebration of Life ceremony this summer at Lake of The Ozarks in Missouri where the family created so many rich memories. Details will be shared once they are finalized.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in James' name may be made to the Parkinson's foundation. Kindly keep James and his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time
