Preceded in death by his parents Otto and Lucille. Jim retired from Waterford Schools in 1994 after 30 years of service. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and a true servant of good works in serving his community, his church and his family. A big advocate of early childhood education, Jim founded Bucket of Love Arial; and The Giving Tree programs in Waterford.
