of Waterford, passed away September 22, 2017 at 87 years of age. Loving husband of Lois for 65 years; dear father of James (Cheryl) Day and the late Lawrence Day; grandfather of Lauren, Kaylin, Ian, and Emily. Also survived by daughter in law Kate Day. Preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister. Jim was a veteran of the US Marine Corp. He retired from Wayne County as a computer system analyst. He was also an aerospace engineer and had worked for McDonell Douglas and Bendix Corporation. He loved being a member of the Nomads Flying Club, where he and Lois traveled the world. Most important to Jim, was his family.
