BATCHA, JAMES JOSEPH "JIM" of Waterford, passed away Saturday June 6, 2020, with his family by his side, at 69 years of age. Born in Chicago, Illinois on August 3, 1950, the beloved son to the late Joseph and Dorothy Batcha. Survived by his loving children Katrina Banister, Cory (Corrine) Banister, Amanda (Colin) Keener, Kimberly (Zach) Goodell and Julia Batcha; his dearest grandchildren Jackson, Jacob, Isabella, Rowen, Jayden, Calvin, Dexter, Hudson and Emmie; dear sister Joan Batcha and longtime significant other Gail Pedersen. Jim was a proud veteran of the U S Army serving during the Vietnam War. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Northern Illinois University. Jim worked for many years, and would still be working if not for his illness, for HUD in their Philadelphia office. His greatest love over the years was the opportunity to coach girls' basketball, both in school and travel ball. One of his favorite past times was just sitting out in the sun, enjoying the heat, hanging out at the beach. He enjoyed all sports, but cherished spending time with his children and grandchildren the most.
