ARNOLD, JAMES D. SR. of Waterford, passed away July 11, 2019 at 82 years of age. Loving husband of Carol for 61 years; dearest father of Kelly (Richard) Keith and James (Patricia) Arnold, Jr.; grandfather of Heather, Adam, David, and Dean; great grandfather of Alliyah, Arianna, Jameson, and Layla; brother of William (Joy) Arnold and Richard Arnold; brother in law of Diane Arnold, Beverly (the late Richard) Huff, Samuel (Susan) Cowan, and the late Walter (the late Janice) Cowan. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and good friends. Jim was a veteran of the US Army Korea, and retired from US Postal Service in 1992. Following retirement Jim and Carol traveled the country in their motor home for over 20 years. He was a member of VFW Heart of the Lake #1008 and American Legion Chief Pontiac Post #377. In his spare time he enjoyed golfing, bowling, building hot rods, and motorcycling. Jim was a "guys" guy, enjoyed time with his buddies, and lived life to the fullest. His family and friends will dearly miss his humor and laughter. A memorial will be celebrated at a later date.
