PORTER, JACKIE LEE, of Pontiac, passed away May 9, 2020 at 76 years of age. Born January 1, 1944 in Charleston, West Virginia son of the late, James and Indiana Porter (nee Estep); beloved husband of Linda Porter (nee Taylor) for 56 wonderful years; cherished father of Melinda (James) Garrison, Shawn Alexander, Johnny (Karen) Porter, Jackie (Robin) Porter Jr., Frank Jensen, Sean (Tina) Porter, Sherry Russell and Steven (Tracy) Porter; proud grandfather of 18 and great grandfather of 15; dearest brother of Lola McCorckel, Patsey King, Linda Kay, Diana, Flossie Porter, Homer Porter, Jamsey Porter Jr., Phyllis Porter, Deloris Porter, Penny Porter and preceded in death by brother Larry Roberts,. Jackie went to High School in Ohio. He met the love of his life Linda though mutual friends on a blind date at the Pontiac Drive- In. He was a loving and caring father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. Always helped everyone he could even if it meant he would go without. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle whenever he could. Jackie will be missed by his family, friends and his community.
