ZAHN, JACK T. SR. of Waterford, passed away July 21, 2022 at 79 years of age. Loving husband of Cathy (nee Largent) for 36 years; dear father of Jack "Chip" (Vanessa) Zahn and Tammy Zahn; grandfather of JT, Ashley, and Jacob; brother of Doug Zahn, and the late Bob and Bruce Zahn; son in law of Cleta and the late Richard Largent; brother in law of Julie (Rick) Pankey and Richard "Curt" (Susan) Largent; also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Jack was a 1962 graduate of Rochester High School and was a veteran of the US Army. He retired from GM in 1999 after 30 years of service and also retired from Waterford Schools at Mason Middle School after 10 years of service. He was an active and devoted member of Community Presbyterian Church as well as working with therapy dogs. For leisure, Jack enjoyed woodworking; cooking; and baking. He will be dearly missed for all he did for his loving family, church, and community. Interment will be a Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly at a later date.
