McLaughlin, Ivy Patricia (nee Hopkins) of Clarkston, passed away March 30, 2020 at 83 years of age. Loving wife of the late Milton for 39 years; dear mother of Van McLaughlin and Chann McLaughlin; proud grandmother of Sean Lindsay McLaughlin, Corey Alexandra McLaughlin and Evan McLaughlin; great grandmother of Cassidy. She is also mourned by her sisters Faye Moss and Yvonne Edwards (Gum Springs) who both reside in her hometown of Richmond Virginia.Ivy had artistic talent which she expressed in her life through, painting, song writing, sculpture, home design, sewing and dance. She and her late husband Milton were Latin dance performers and instructors in the Richmond area in the late 1950s..She was a loving and giving person who was always willing to help those in need with prayer, a meal or a place to stay during troubled times.
