Hugh M. Dowell, age 71 of White Lake Township, died Friday, December 30, 2011 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 11, 1940, the son of the late Carl H. Dowell and the late Iris (nee: Marshall) Dowell. Born in Clay, Tennessee, Hugh and his family decided to head north to their new home in Detroit.
