PREVO, HERMAN RAY, age 80 of Pontiac, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021. He was born on July 3, 1941 in East Jordan, Michigan to parents Joseph and Alena Prevo. Herman proudly served in the United States Army. He was a car enthusiast and retirement left him with nothing but time to spend working on cars. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. Herman is survived by sons: Roy (Deanna) Prevo and Ray (Jacquie) Prevo; grandchildren: Roger (Tamara) Prevo, Barbara Monterrosa, Raedale (Jeff Johnson) Prevo, Shawna (Isreal) Dunham, John (Brittany) Prevo, and Megan Prevo; 16 great grandchildren; one brother; several nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by both parents; wife, Shirley Prevo; son, Roger Prevo; grandchildren: Maria Sellers and Jennifer Prevo; 19 siblings. A funeral service will take place at 11am on Monday, October 11, 2021 at COATS FUNERAL HOME – WATERFORD. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 10, 2021 from 4-8pm. Interment at Perry Mount Park with military honors.
