NICHOLS JR., HERMAN LEWIS, of Grand Blanc, formerly of Pontiac passed away September 13, 2020 at age 80. Beloved husband of the late Susan Nichols (nee Wahl) for 38 years; father of Lisa Martin, Denise (Richard) Wolfe, Nick Allen Parker and Nina Holmes; proud grandfather and great grandfather of many; dearest brother of Larry (Sharon) Nichols, Sheila (Russell) Bowers and preceded in death by siblings Chuck Nichols, Vivian Boom and Ann Bowker, also Dan (Chris) Robertson, Sharon (George) Kosiba , Steve (Kathy) Nichols, Jon (Leslie) Nichols and Tim Nichols. Herman was a veteran of the US Air Force and proudly served his country as an instrument repairman; he had a 36 year career as a crib attendant at GM. At home, he enjoyed working in his yard and on his house and everyone was welcome to stop in and visit. A nice cup of coffee outside with his wife Susan was what he treasured most. He was a hardworking man and loved his dogs Rascal and Lilly the Westiepoos. He will be missed by his family, friends and community.
