"Beloved wife of the late Dimitrie Toth Sr., loving mother of Dimitrie Jr. (Vikki) Toth and grandmother of Jamel and Diana Chokr. Born in st1:place w:st="on"st1:City w:st="on"Detroit/st1:City/st1:place to George and Catherine Mariutza on January 8, 1924, preceded in death by her siblings-John Marit, Dan Marit, Dorothy Toth, Mary Vlad, Valentine Nan and Arthur Mariutza. After graduating from st1:place w:st="on"st1:PlaceName w:st="on"Hamtramck/st1:PlaceName st1:PlaceType w:st="on"High School/st1:PlaceType/st1:place in 1942, Helen worked in the office at Fisher Body Pontiac until 1949. She and Danny Toth Sr. met in st1:City w:st="on"st1:place w:st="on"Pontiac/st1:place/st1:City before the outbreak of World War ll and married in January 1947. While residing in st1:City w:st="on"st1:place w:st="on"Pontiac/st1:place/st1:City she was a member of St. George Romanian Church on st1:Street w:st="on"st1:address w:st="on"Arthur St.st1:address/st1:Street and participated in the choir and Ladies Auxiliary. She was proud of her Romanian heritage and took part in many Romanian functions within the community. She was active in many civic organizations including the D.A.V. Ladies Auxiliary Chapter 101, Amvets and st1:Street w:st="on"st1:address w:st="on"United Way/st1:address/st1:Street, and contributed to the 1961 Greater Pontiac Centennial. In 1964 the Toths moved to st1:City w:st="on"Waterford/st1:City where Helen took part in introducing new st1:country-region w:st="on"US/st1:country-region citizens to st1:place w:st="on"st1:PlaceName w:st="on"Oakland/st1:PlaceName st1:PlaceType w:st="on"County/st1:PlaceType/st1:place. She became a devoted member of St. George Romanian Orthodox Cathedral in st1:City w:st="on"Southfield/st1:City and served God in many capacities within the church-the choir, Ladies Auxiliary and Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America in st1:place w:st="on"st1:PlaceName w:st="on"Grass/st1:PlaceName st1:PlaceType w:st="on"Lake/st1:PlaceType/st1:place where she helped with AROY summer camps. She also served on the board of ARFORA. She enjoyed dancing, loved to travel, was a wonderful cook and an accomplished hostess. Helen
