of Waterford, passed away March 15, 2016 at 85 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Herbert Swanson; dearest mother of Mona DeQuis; sister of Victoria Bitsoli and the late George Bitsoli. Helen was very artistic. She attended classes at the Meinzinger School of Art in Detroit. She had many careers, working in doctor offices, art work for The Oakland Press and finally as a realtor. She loved music, politics, decorating, gardening, and an eye to see potential.
