ENGLUND, HELEN M. (née Vidlund) of Waterford, passed away March 1, 2024 at 91 years of age. Loving wife of the late Joel for 62 years; cherished mother of Robert (Monica Jones) Englund and Karen Collom; dear grandmother of Rochelle, Lauren, and Livia; great grandmother of Carter; sister of the late Robert and Clarence Vidlund. Helen retired from GM Truck & Bus in 1991 after over 25 years of service. She was an active member of the Red Hats, member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, and Gloria Dei Church. She and husband Joel were social butterflies and enjoyed golfing, bowling, and enjoyed every opportunity to gather with friends. An independent woman, Helen was always there to care for those in need. Though her family will dearly miss her we know she is now with the love of her life. A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 12 noon at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD. Family will receive friends Thursday 10 AM until time of service.
