of Chesnee, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at 92 years of age. A native of Newberry, Michigan, he was the husband of Frances Ellen Durkee Kerr of the home and the son of the late William and Rose Kerr. He worked as a pipe fitter for General Motors, was member of Chesnee United Methodist Church and a former member of Central United Methodist Church in Waterford. Mr. Kerr served in the United States Coast Guard during World War II. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Valery Vetter and husband, Joe of Chesnee, SC, Charlene E. Dominquez and husband Pablo, of Waterford, Roberta I. Face and husband David of White Lake and Anita L. Tewilliager and husband Douglas of Waterford; two sisters-in-law, Marge Kerr and Edwinna Mayer; five grandchildren, Zachary Vetter, Brooke McManus, Kyle Face, Ashley Tewilliager and Tyler Tewilliager and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond Kerr, Creighton "Joe" Kerr and George Kerr.
