of Waterford, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018. Born August 31, 1939 in Cotula, TN to Harry and Edna Brady Petree. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Charles, Bobby and David Petree of Cotula, TN. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife of 55 years, Margaret Baird Petree of Waterford; son and daughter-in-law Steven and Denise Herman Petree; granddaughters Stephanie, Courtney and Katie Petree; grandsons Matthew and Aiden Petree all of Clarkston; brothers Paul and Ann Petree of Morristown, TN., Jack and Wendy Petree of Lafollette, TN., sisters Rosa Draker and Janie Douglas of LaFollette, TN., Jewell Clark of Conley, Ga. and Nancy Smith of Richmond, VA. Also a host of nieces and nephews. He was of the Baptist faith. He retired from the State of Michigan as the Director of the Oakland County Michigan Veterans Trust Fund. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a life member of the Disabled Veterans of America.
