DAYNER, Harry T. passed away peacefully July 2, 2020. Cherished husband of the late Doris; beloved father of Susan Dayner, Terry (Frank) Kling, Tom (Tim Kilgore) Dayner; loving grandpa of Christopher (Sarah) Johnston, Kaylyn (Joel)Templeton, Travis (Lindsey) Johnston, Kelly (Jeffrey) Kling, and Kevin (Emily) Kling; cherished great grandpa of Lauren and Jack Johnston, Riggs and Rhett Templeton; brother of Joanne (Mark) Summers and the late Donald L. Dayner; survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Harold T. and Audrey J. Dayner. Harry always had a good story to make you laugh. He was a good friend, husband, brother, father, grandpa, and great grandpa. Always hard working, patient and kind, his greatest joy in life was his family. He loved metal detecting with Michigan Treasure Hunters; bowling; golfing; and a quick little trip to the casino! All who knew him loved playing a round of cards with him. Harry was born August 10,1932 in Benton Township, Colmbia County, PA and attended Pontiac Central High School. After enlisting in the Army, Harry was stationed in Germany. He married Doris E. Gertz September 11, 1954. They made their home in Waterford, Michigan where they raised their three children. He will be greatly missed by his family. Services at a later date.
